War of the Roses: The Fall of the Plantagenets and the Rise of the Tudors

I chose this book because it was an obvious continuation of the last book I had just read! Plus, these few decades was very influential for George R. R. Martin and his A Song of Ice and Fire series (aka Game of Thrones in case you have been under a rock for a decade).

Much like the previous book, The Plantagenets, this was fairly difficult to follow since I wasn’t as familiar with the hundreds of Dukes, Earls, Nobles, etc. This isn’t the fault of Dan Jones, it’s a lack of knowledge on my part, the reader. Still, it’s a good book, especially if you are a Game of Thrones fan. Much of the craziness that happens in GoT can be traced to this time period and indeed, these feuding families.
