Heir of Novron (Riyria Revelations box set Book 3)

I found myself simultaneously reading like my life depended on it and yet, only reading one chapter a night as if to hold onto the magic just a little longer. *Sigh* I knew this book was the end of the Riyria Revelations series and if you’ve read my other posts (book 1 and book 2), you know that I have immensely enjoyed this series by Michael J Sullivan! 

I wondered how/if Michael would tie up this series with a satisfying conclusion and he certainly did. My suspicions from the beginning of the series were confirmed, which of course is very satisfying as a reader. Royce and Hadrian are such wonderfully written characters, I was sad to see them go (in the sense of finishing the series, not spoiling anything).

I plan to take a break from Michael J Sullivan and read a different series for a bit, but that is not a reflection of any disappointment. Instead, I want to give my mind a break from his works before I return to his world. A wonderful series. I could not recommend it enough. I hope other readers learn of this series/author and give him the credit he is due.
